Jane Dowary Agency is a full service literary agency that works with authors to get their novels published and works with authors from all over the world. Julia is keenly interested in fiction. Her fields of interests are: General fiction, Romantic fiction, Adventure, Action, Horror, Thriller, Chick Lit, Detective, Mystery, Literary, and all age range works for children. Julia is also very interested in non-fiction projects in the fields of memoirs, non-fiction narratives, and educational books for children and higher education (college) : Julia's commissions for making sales are: 15% for domestic sales, 21% for international sales, and 25% for movie production sales. Julia is not a publicist and does not do any publicity work. Any client that signs with her will have to find their own publicist. She is also not an editorial agent and does not do any editing on the manuscripts written by her clients. She offers a one year contract and a career-binding contract. Submission Guidelines: Queries accepted only by email. "Query" should be in the subject line of the email. Include the first sample chapter with a full synopsis, state the category of the work (I.e - children, romance, science fiction, fantasy, adventure, horror, thriller, mystery, literary, chick lit), state whether or not the manuscript is complete.
